Professor Silva's Teaching

As a professor of analytical chemistry, I teach courses in the undergraduate analytical sequence (Quantitative Analysis--CHEM 3600/3610 and Instrumental Analysis--CHEM 5640/5650) as well as the graduate curriculum.  I also teach courses in Environmental Chemistry at USU.  The new lecture course Intermediate Environmental Chemistry (CHEM 5670) was taught for the first time during Spring 2004.  In two years, we plan to introduce a laboratory (CHEM 5680) that will accompany this lecture.

Spring 2007   CHEM 6600 Modern Chemical Analysis

Spring 2006   CHEM 5670 Intermediate Environmental Chemistry

Fall 2005        CHEM 1220 General Chemistry II

Spring 2005  CHEM 3650 Environmental Chemistry

Fall 2004        CHEM 3600 Quantitative Analysis
